What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a type of alternative medicine based on traditional Chinese medicine, which involves insertion of needles through certain points on your body.

How does it work?

Traditional Chinese medicine defines health as the result of a harmonious balance of "yin" and "yang" of the life force known as "qi”. Inserting needles into these points with appropriate combinations brings the energy flow back into proper balance.

Herbal Medicine

What is Herbal Medicine?

Herbal medicine is the art and science of using herbs for promoting health, preventing and treating illness. It has persisted as the world’s primary form of medicine since the beginning of time, with a written history more than 5000 years old.

Herbal medicines are plant-based medicines made from differing combinations of plant parts (e.g. leaves, flowers or roots). Each part can have different medicinal uses and the many types of chemical constituents require different extraction methods. Both fresh and dried plant matter is used, depending on the herb.
